Brooks 2 - Phillips 1 - Dads Game Review

First home game for Brooks and it's against Phillips Academy.  Brooks has lost to PA every year since 2003.  Brooks handily beat PA in the pre-season camp in Maine and everyone knew PA would come out for revenge.  Spirited play early on led to Zach's first high school goal.  About halfway through the half, a bit of a scramble at the right of the PA goal.  Zach shot, the ball was heading for the corner of the net.  Along came one of the PA defenders attempting to swipe it away, but luckily he just helped it along on it's way to the back of the net.  Woooooo Hoooooo!!  GO ZACH!!  The rest of the game was played at a good pace.  Each team having opportunities to score.  Unfortunately, PA tied it in the second half.  As the clock ticked closer to 90 minutes, Captain Nick beat three PA defenders around the right corner, crossing the ball in front of the net.  Drew Meyers buried it in the net and Brooks had broken the losing streak.
