Brooks 3 - Roxbury Latin 4 - Dads Game Review

The high of the Wednesday PA win vanished quickly on this Saturday afternoon.  Very sloppy early play led to Brooks being down 3-0 in the first half.  Close to the close, Drew Meyers netted one for Brooks giving everyone a glimmer of hope.  An early second half PK for Brooks resulted in Andreas bringing the score to 3-2.  Shortly after, Zach scored on a beautiful shot from the left at top of the 18.  The blast found the top right corner of the net.  Zach was mobbed by his teammates and we were tied.  Of course dad nearly jumped out of his skin when that one found the twine!!!  Coaches Roland, Steve & Matt were all on hand to see it.  Unfortunately, a defensive giveaway, led to a clear break in from the center line for RL's Leon Brown.  Leon notched his 3rd of the game and that was that.  Tough loss to take today.
